Q: How long have you been with Contractor Services, Inc. and what do you do here?
A: I have been with Contractor Services for just over two years. In my time with the company, I have been promoted to the Supervisor of Surveillance and Traffic Control Management across the entire state of Nebraska.
Q: How did you get started in this business?
A: I got started in the business through a couple of friends, who either have worked here or currently still work for this company.
Q: What is your favorite thing about working at CSI?
A: Every day there is something new or different taking place. The current position I am in has me traveling across the entire state of Nebraska, as well as meeting new people and being in places I have not been before. The main reason I come to work every day is having the opportunity to experience new things day in and day out.
Q: What makes you feel accomplished?
A: Being able to see the people I have worked alongside and trained be successful here.
Q: What advice would you give a new employee or someone considering a role at CSI?
A: The best advice I have for new employees is to keep an open mind and constantly be looking to learn. Also, ask questions. It is one of the best ways to keep improving.
Q: What are the key characteristics that you feel you bring to the team?
A: I am comfortable talking to people and communicate well. I have a pretty good understanding of most everything we do, which allows me to be versatile and fill in where needed.
Q: What are your expectations as you work on a job?
A: My biggest expectations as a supervisor are safety and productivity. I want our team to make sure they are working in the safest and most efficient way possible.
Q: What does the future hold for you at CSI?
A: I would like to continue to grow with the company and continue to be an asset, moving up in the company as opportunities arise.
Q: You spend a considerable amount of time working. What do you do in your time off?
A: One of the biggest things to me is spending time with my wife and family. Along with this, I enjoy having some time to get away and enjoy hunting and fishing.
