Truck Driver

We are hiring for the 2023 season! Contractor Services, Inc. (CSI) is a traffic control company based in North Platte, Nebraska. Our service area includes central Nebraska to the panhandle and eastern Colorado.

CSI provides traffic control services that include the installation of signs and barricades, roadway and airport pavement marking, pavement marking removals, temporary barrier rail, temporary signals, message boards, and other smart zone equipment. CSI is a fast-growing company looking for employees that are ready to grow with us.

We need truck drivers in the following areas: Gering, North Platte, Grand Island, York, NE, and Eastern CO.

Safety is the most important part of a construction project. CSI employees will help create a safe work zone by installing traffic control devices on roadway construction projects.

Truck drivers will haul equipment and materials to and from our yard to staging areas throughout our service area. This will include but is not limited to temporary barrier rail, message boards, materials, equipment, and other miscellaneous items. The drivers are responsible for loading and unloading all loads. They are responsible for maintaining the correct paperwork and logs in regulation with their CDL license.

Abilities/Skills:

· Follow the Safety handbook.

· Must be at least 21 years of age.

· Operators requires CDL license (Class A or Class B with air brakes).

· Pass a drug test and subject to random testing.

· Clean driving record.

· Conduct yourself as a professional with co-workers and public.

· Work away from home.

· Work nights and weekends.

· Report to work at the designated start time.

· Work overtime.

· Work outside in all-weather conditions.

· Be a team player.

· Lift 80+ lbs.

· Communicate well with others.

· Willingness to learn, new hires will be trained in classroom and on the job.

This is a position that requires safety to be put first, as you will be working near traffic and other contractors. PPE (hard hat, safety vest, eye protection, gloves) is required and successful applicants will need to provide proper footwear and attire.
