We are hiring for the 2023 season! Contractor Services, Inc. (CSI) is a traffic control company based in North Platte, Nebraska. Our service area includes central Nebraska to the panhandle and eastern Colorado.
CSI provides traffic control services that include the installation of signs and barricades, roadway and airport pavement marking, pavement marking removals, temporary barrier rail, temporary signals, message boards, and other smart zone equipment. CSI is a fast-growing company looking for employees that are ready to grow with us.
We need operators in the following areas: Gering, North Platte, Grand Island, York, NE, and Eastern CO.
Safety is the most important part of a construction project. CSI employees will help create a safe work zone by installing traffic control devices on roadway construction projects.
Operators will drive and perform work with the specialty trucks that we use to complete our scope of work on road construction projects. This may include but is not limited to operating striping or water blasting equipment, skid steers with attachments, crash attenuator trucks and other specialty units.
Abilities/Skills:
· Follow the Safety handbook.
· Must be at least 21 years of age.
· Operators requires CDL license (Class A or Class B with air brakes).
· Clean driving record.
· Conduct yourself as a professional with co-workers and public.
· Work away from home.
· Work nights and weekends.
· Report to work at the designated start time.
· Work overtime.
· Work outside in all-weather conditions.
· Be a team player.
· Lift 80+ lbs.
· Communicate well with others.
· Willingness to learn, new hires will be trained in classroom and on the job.
This is a position that requires safety to be put first, as you will be working near traffic and other contractors. PPE (hard hat, safety vest, eye protection, gloves) is required and successful applicants will need to provide proper footwear and attire.
